Now it won"t hit a lick except with the choke all the way on it will start and idle perfectly, very sweet and smooth, from very slow up to top speed. If we let the choke off it will die. The first screw is in the carb body and adjusts the mixture at idle. The other screw should be on the linkage attached to th carb and adjusts the idle speed. Before doing any carb adjustment make sure the ignition system is good and timing is set. The engine should also be at operating temperature.Nov 2, 2015. #1.
