While it does"fill the hole" it really isn't a very secure solution. It only takes removing the E-Clip (L) from the assembly to take it our of the bumper cover sans key. And, if you think about it, the bumper cover is plastic and it doesn't take much imagination to determine other ways how this "lock" can be compromised.I lowered the tire by using a socket that just fit over the key and long extension. I jammed the socket against the key by pushing the extension real hard to the side while turning it with a ratchet. It would only move a little at a time, But good enough to get the tire down, then just pry the key out.
