Pierce arrow MVs goes up by 2s in 4/6/8/10/12 order so level 5 pierce is a very big deal over level 4. The main reason bow pierce isn't meta while lbg pierce is, is armor pieces. Bow currently has exactly one source of bow charge up, being the mighty bow feather used in the headpiece. Guess that depends on what you're using, although the Zinogre LBG, Despot's Wildfire, is probably the more common Normal one to use since it also has Rapid Fire Slicing in addition to Rapid Normal 2.
