I like to keep my reviews short and sweet, the HTX is a little stiffer than last years HTR but its the smoothest bow I have shot this year, enjoyActually the HTX is faster. It only goes to a 28 inch draw length so you are comparing it at 28 to the HTR at 30. It's faster because of the reduced brace height. But it is also less forgiving. The HTR is one of the most forgiving and smoothest drawing bows Mathews has ever made in my opinion. Get an HTR and never look back.Each bow was a little different in how close to true they run.
